Hundred Nights Emergency Shelter
Open year-round

Hundred Nights is a low-barrier emergency shelter and resource center that provides shelter and crisis-related resources to individuals and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness in southwestern New Hampshire.

Hundred Nights provides up to 48 shelter beds per night on the second and third floors of its new facility located at 122 Water Street in Keene. Two women’s dorm rooms and four private family rooms are on one floor; men’s dorms are on a separate floor. Two overnight shelter supervisors, one per floor, stay awake through the night to ensure the safety and comfort of guests.

Daily Schedule

Intake for new guests starts at 2:00 PM daily.

Check-in each night is 6:30 PM.

Everyone must be in by 9:30 PM, unless an exception is made by staff, due to work schedule, appointment, class, etc.

Lights out: 10 PM

General wake up call begins at 6:30 AM; All guests must be out of bed by 7:00 AM.

Morning tasks, including efforts to keep your area clean, must be completed by 8:00 AM unless an exception is made by staff, due to doctors note, work schedule, etc.

Pajamas are available for overnight wear, but must be returned in the morning.

Personal care items such as toothbrushes and toothpaste, shampoo and conditioner are available.

The Kingsbury Resource Center
Open year-round from 7:00 AM – 9:30 PM

The Kingsbury Resource Center, located on the first floor of the new facility, is open daily from 7:00 AM to 9:30 PM to guests and visitors seeking to warm up, have a meal, or get information about services and programs to help them retain or return to permanent housing. The center is staffed by a manager who helps clients gain access to basic needs, meals, and services provided by the shelter as well as to programs administered by local and state partners.

The resource center is located next to several additional guest resources on the first floor: offices for case managers and counselors to meet privately with guests; a laundry room for guests and visitors to do personal laundry; a full kitchen to provide meals; and a donation room for clothing, cold weather gear, and personal care items. The center also has five computer workstations for guests to use to search for jobs and housing.

Meal Schedule

Breakfast: 7-9 AM daily, open to all

Lunch: 2 Noon- 1 PM daily, open to all

Dinner Mon-Fri: 5-6 PM, shelter guests only (The Community Kitchen serves dinner weekday nights)

Dinner on weekends and holidays: 5-6 PM, open to all
