- The Salvation Army
–The Keene Salvation Army offers assistance through services that prioritize food, clothing, rent, energy, and prescriptions. These programs are available Wednesday – Friday. They also offer showers for those who are homeless or without access to clean water from 10AM – 1:30PM, Tuesday – Friday. On Saturdays, they offer hot lunches between 11:30AM – 12:30PM.

- Home Healthcare, Hospice, and Community Services (“HCS”)
–The mission of HCS is to provide services which enable people to function throughout life at their optimal level of health, well-being and independence. HCS offers a variety of programs including Healthy Starts (for pregnant women, families, and children), Medical Social Work and Outreach, Visiting Nurses, Transportation Services, and Homemakers, as well as classes that focus on elderly wellness, nutrition, and behavioral therapy.

- Monadnock Center for Violence Prevention (“MCVP”)
–MCVP is dedicated to ending interpersonal violence in all forms through primary prevention, education, community engagement, and collaboration. In addition to offering crisis intervention services, MCVP supports the health, wellbeing, and safety of survivors and has a staff that includes full time advocates, a Family Violence Prevention Specialist, Shelter Advocate, and Housing First Advocate.

- Monadnock Peer Support
–Monadnock Peer Support was founded in 1995 as an alternative that compliments and supplements the traditional mental health system. Their goal is to empower their members to be less dependent on traditional mental health care and to foster an environment that is supportive and inclusive. Monadnock Peer Support is once again open Monday-Friday, 9am – 7pm daily, for support groups around topics like anxiety, depression, and trauma. All of their programs are free and do not require insurance.

–The Keene Serenity Center is an addiction treatment center that embraces all pathways to recovery and offers recovery coaching, harm reduction resources, and support groups. They work to end the stigma experienced by people in recovery or seeking recovery, foster a sense of community, and identify, nurture, and develop leadership from within the recovering community.
